Kyle Jarrett

Founder and President

 

Kyle has over a decade of experience managing digital media and fundraising programs for political and advocacy organizations, including national party committees and dozens of U.S. House, Senate, and Gubernatorial candidates. His passion for advancing voting rights led him to create Voter Action Project at this critical time when rights are being trampled on and action on all fronts is needed. 

Kyle is a graduate of the University of Utah where he double majored in Political Science and Communications. 

Michael Kanick

Vice President

 

Michael has spent the last two decades in the progressive political digital communications space on and off Capitol Hill, starting with his (then) home state U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and later serving as Digital Media Director for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH). He has worked for several digital consulting firms specializing in electoral politics, non-profit advocacy and corporate-public affairs. A graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego, Mike earned a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University.

Mary Baumgard

Vice President, Digital Strategy

 

Mary raised millions of dollars for Democratic campaigns and causes as a digital strategist with New Blue Interactive, specializing in helping state parties and progressive organizations create sustainable fundraising opportunities to power their work longterm. She got her professional start in politics working as a field organizer in southwest Colorado for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. She now works at Skillshare, an online community for creative learning, as their Email Marketing Manager.

 

Her digital fundraising work has been recognized by the American Association of Political Consultants, receiving the 2018 bronze award for Best Use of Email and the 2017 bronze award for Best Use of Social. Her current work is also featured on Really Good Emails.


Mary has her B.A. in Political Science from the College of Saint Benedict.
